Do you think it will be complicated to add water reflection to a photo? I think most of you will agree, for it is quite a challenge to distort reflection of the surroundings and make the water look liquid. Actually, it is very easy to get this result by Musemage. After a few clicks, you can get your ideal results. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create water reflection to a photo.
The following picture is the one I will use:
We are going to add water and reflection to it. Here’s how it looks when we’re done:
Firstly, open a picture using Musemage. Then, click Distortion which at the Side Tool Manager to choose Flood filter. Or click Filters, and then click Distorts, then on Flood at the menu bar (Filters > Distorts > Flood).
Then, an initial result comes out, and a dialog panel pops up.
You can adjust the value in the pop-up Flood Settings. The Amplitude can change the degree of ripple; The Offset alter water height; The Reflection change refractive rate; Distance alter the density of water; Scale make scattering degree change; and Diffuse change the brightness and angle of light. The degree and result are up to you. Here, I’d like to make water height lower. So, I slide the Offset to a degree of 0.41. And I drag the slider of Reflection to alter refractive rate. The degree is 0.88.
It looks good, Click OK. There, we are done! Now, here is what the photo looks.
