How to Correct Barrel/Pincushion Distortion

When use wide angle lens or telephoto lens to take a shot, there will be more or less barrel distortion or pincushion distortion. Now, this problem is a piece of cake in Musemage. In this tutorial, I will introduce an easy way to solve it.

Let’s have a look at the contrast picture before and after change.

First, open a picture you wanna correct. And then, choose Goemetric Distortion from “Lens Effects > Goemetric Distortion” at the Side Tool Manager, or “Filters > Distorts > Goemetric Distortion” at the menu bar as below.

Next, set the parameters of Lens Settings. There, I drag the slider of Remove Distortion to -20.

Then, drag the slider of Scale to 1.12. Is this wall become normal?

Click OK. We’re done. It is so easy and fast, isn’t it?
