Combining two photos together to get a new effect will be a great fun. In this tutorial, we’ll learn this technique. After learn, you can create more unusual effect by yourself. Let’s get started.
Step 1: Put the two photos in to one folder, they will be shown on the picture wall in Musemage. Next, open one picture and then open the other one as a new layer as blow.
Step 2: Clip the water picture. Here, we use Magic Select Tool.
After choose, click the white background, then press Delete.
Step 3: Lessen the clipped water drop to a proper size, which just cover the ball on the first picture.
Press "Ctrl + D" to disselect the section, lower the opacity of the water layer to be able to make it the correct size. And then click Free Transform Tool to lessen the water drop.
Double click the selection, there will pop up a window, then click Yes to sure this change.
Try to move the water drop for detail. When this is done, you can raise the opacity of the layer back to 100% in the layers palette.
Step 4: Select the parts of hands in the first picture and copy the selection to make it visible.
Click Layer 0, and click the water layer to make it invisible, then use Magic Select Tool to select the parts of hands.
Use “Ctrl + C” and “Ctrl + V” to copy this selection to another layer.
Step 5: Click the water layer invisible. With Arrow tool, you can move the copied hands to cover the old one.
Click water layer, and move the hands to cover the old one. The effect comes out.
Use Auto Contrast to make it more natural. Then, we’re done.
