How to Make a Cross Processing Effect

Cross Processing filter is to simulate the effect of cross processing to make the color of image more beautiful, the contrast much stronger, and the main body be highlighted, so the picture will have a unique charm. It is mainly used for portrait and parts of scenery pictures. After learned this tutorial, we can easily make this effect with musemage.


The following is the effect.

Let’s learn how to make it.


First, open a picture with musemage.


Then, choose “Color Effects > Cross Processing” from the Side Tool Manager, or “Filters > Color Effects > Cross Processing” at the menu bar.


After click, there will pop up a window. Adjust the parameters according to the picture. Here, I drag the slider of Dark details to 70, and color to 90. Then, the effect comes out.

It is cool, right?
