Add a Dreamy Lavender Tone to an Exterior Scene

In this tutorial, I’ll add a dreamy lavender tone to an exterior scene. If you’re interested, please follow me.

The first thing we should do is to make a background effec t(Here, I'll not talk this technique, for detail please look at How to Make a Background Blur Effect ) . I’ll use this effect in this tutorial. Copy this layer and choose “Adjust > Color Balance”.


Set the parameters as below. Then, the picture displays a lavender tone.


Select Eraser Tool to clear the character out. Wheel to enlarge and be patient.


Now, comes to the final step. Copy “layer 0 copy” and change its blending mode to Soft Light.

 Then, we're done.
